Located at the top of the house, contemporary styling meets classic elegance, all classic rooms have king-sized beds, luxurious marble bathrooms with walk-in showers and baths. Views from these rooms reach far across the valley and woodlands.

Deluxe Woodland View

Welcome to your haven of style and tranquillity. Deluxe Woodland rooms look into the woodlands at the back of the house and are individually designed with comfortable king-sized beds and stylish well-appointed bathrooms. Each room benefits from stylish bed linen and decorative cushions, giving you the utmost comfort during your stay.

Rooms in this category; Fingle, Hound, Frenchbeer. Please request a king or a twin bed for any deluxe woodland view room.

Deluxe Garden View

Deluxe Garden rooms enjoy differing stunning panoramas with views over our herb garden, the River Teign and the moorland. 'Kitty' and 'Merrivale' each enjoy private balconies, with stunning views over the Teign Valley, a perfect place to enjoy breakfast, al fresco light lunch or some quiet contemplation. A unique feature within 'Manaton' is a romantic rooftop Jacuzzi, where you can unwind in the clear country air and enjoy chilled Champagne under the stars. All of these rooms can be requested as a king or a twin bed. A two-night minimum stay applies to 'Manaton'. ' Lydford' is a dog-friendly room. Rooms in this category; Manaton, Merrivale, Kitty, Bel Tor and Lydford.

Master Rooms

Spacious and luxurious, our Master rooms are all delightfully and individually furnished in contemporary style with elegant features fine antiques, king-size beds, sumptuous fabrics and most with breathtaking panoramic views over the valley.

Rooms in this category; Huccaby, Bracken, Drogo, Laughter, Combeshead, Cranbrook, Wallabrook, Lettaford, Kestor, Bellever. Please request a king or a twin bed.

All Master Rooms, with the exception of Cranbrook, are located at the front of the house with valley views. Cranbrook makes up for this with a wonderful bathroom with double baths and a sauna. Kestor has disabled access and has no bath. Bellever is a dog-friendly room.

Family Loft Suite

Children are extended a warm welcome at Gidleigh Park. Our family loft suite, Haytor, offers generous spacious accommodation.

Styled as an apartment, it comfortably accommodates a family of four in the king-sized double room and separate twin bedroom. The spacious lounge has a television and DVD player, with toy box and board games available for younger guests. For families with young children, babysitting services can be arranged.

The Pavilion

Enjoy the opportunity to escape to your own charming hideaway. The Pavilion is a self-contained thatched cottage in the grounds overlooking the croquet lawn. A wonderful home from home, it comprises a two bedroom interconnecting suite, each bedroom with its own bathroom, an open-plan panelled sitting room with kitchen diner, and a private veranda.

Spring water from the Gidleigh estate, L’Occitane skin care and bath lotions, slippers, bathrobes and a Vispring bed complete your stay.

One of the bedrooms can be requested as a king or a twin bed. This is one of our three dog-friendly rooms available.

Spa Suite

To provide the most luxurious, individual spa experience, we have one bedroom that offers guests the ultimate relaxing feature bathroom, designed to provide a higher level of luxury and comfort to complete your own unique and intensely relaxing space. Dartmeet enjoys panoramic views over the valley, with the ultimate decadent bathroom; large marble bath, double shower, steam room and sauna. This room can be requested as a king or a twin bed.
