Where Little Legs Roam
Life’s greatest joys are found in the simplest pleasures. Running barefoot on the grass, muddy wellies, tired legs, and a head full of wonders bring the most peaceful dreams.
Relish the nostalgic charm of limitless play with a picnic in the woods then croquet on the lawn. And for those who wish to ramble, across the path and over the hill, Dartmoor’s great untamed awaits.
Everlasting fun
At Gidleigh Park, our very important little people are never a second thought, in fact, we encourage all guests to tune into the joys of carefree childhood wonder. After all, there’s no age restriction on fun. Rackets, mallets, and putters at the ready, all our onsite activities are completely complimentary allowing you to disconnect from the day to day and enter a world of discovery.
Nourishing adventures
Whether it’s been a day discovering Dartmoor’s legends, chasing mythic creatures in bluebell woods or practising your putting skills on the green, The Garden Menu offers quality dining to satisfy little tummies. We welcome children in the restaurant until 8:00pm, with last orders being placed by 7:00pm. As well as our Garden Menu, our V.I.L.P (very important little people) are welcome to smaller portions from any of our ‘grown up’ menus.
Picnic hampers
Rest those weary legs and tuck into a hamper made just for little ones, featuring snacks so irresistible they might not make it to the main sitting. Lay out your blanket in a secluded part of the grounds, a space just for you, or take your hamper on your great day out, a lunchtime triumph.
Family rooms
We welcome unlimited playtime, laughter on the lawn, little wellies by the door and weary heads in comfortable beds. Precious moments require the space to enjoy them, which is why our family rooms are designed with family needs at the heart. From a separate twin bedroom and a spacious lounge to a toy box, board games and DVD player, family getaways to Gidleigh Park ensure stays of fun and excellence for all.
